Design takes root far from a desk - it begins in a new city, where evening light slips across the walls of a villa at sunset. Other times, it reveals itself over a long dinner with friends, or in the quiet discovery of an object that feels familiar before you can explain why.

Atelier Midi is a design studio shaped by curiosity, working at the intersection of interior design, sensory moments, and immersive experiences.

We believe the most interesting spaces come from living fully - traveling often, lingering over long meals, noticing beautiful light, collecting objects with stories, and paying attention to the small rituals that make everyday life feel meaningful. To us, design doesn’t live in isolation. It thrives in the rhythm of everyday life.

Founded by interior designers Nicolas Burbano Díaz and Sheridan Miller, the studio approaches each project with a global perspective, a considered contextual environment, and a deep understanding of our clients vision. Design is always the focus, with inspiration emerging from experiences and layered memories.

The studio’s work is guided by an intuitive process, translating function into form. Known for nuanced interplay of light, material, and layered surfaces, Atelier Midi creates environments that feel both composed and instinctive - spaces that unfold gradually rather than reveal themselves all at once.

Each project is conceived as a sequence of moments, guiding the user through a discovery of the space shaping a quiet narrative that reveals itself over time.

This sensitivity often extends beyond traditional interiors, creating immersive environments, curating products and spatial installations that blur the line between design and experience.

The result is work that feels intentional but never overworked - spaces that invite people to linger, welcome a touch of imperfection, and grow more beautiful with time, layered slowly and lived in fully.
